CCL Bids Respectful Farewell to 201 Retiring Employees at Ranchi Headquarters

A special short film showcasing the experiences, emotions and service memories of the retiring personnel was screened during the programme

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organised a grand and dignified felicitation ceremony at its Headquarters in Ranchi to honour employees retiring in January 2026. As part of the occasion, 16 employees from the Headquarters were formally felicitated, while similar farewell programmes were conducted simultaneously across various CCL regions. In total, 201 employees from Headquarters and regional units were accorded a respectful send-off.

Ajit Singh, GM (M&S); Ramesh Kumar, GM (E&M), R&D; Om Prakash Prasad, GM (E&M), GNH; Dr Basudev Rajak, Chief Medical Officer, GNH; Arun Kumar Singh, Assistant Engineer (EXCV), P&P Section; Dharmendra Prasad, Chief Pharmacist-A1, GNH; Naveen Kumar Jha, OS (AI), Security; Reena Dutta, UDC, Medical; Manjula Singh, DEO, GNH; Krishna Charan Baitha, Rigman, Geology; Amal Dev Rai, Head Security Guard; Sanita Ram, Senior Duplicator Operator, HQ Cash; Jaydhan Turi, Offset Platemaker, GNH; Ramashrai, Head Peon, HQ Cash; and Suresh Toppo, Cat-I, General Administration.

The ceremony was graced by CMD, CCL Nilendu Kumar Singh, along with Director (HR) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations) Chandra Shekhar Tiwari, Director (Planning & Projects) Anup Hanjura, and Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar.

Addressing the gathering, CMD N.K. Singh extended his heartfelt best wishes to all retiring employees for the next phase of their lives. He said it was a matter of pride for the CCL family that the retirees had completed their service with loyalty, dedication and integrity.

He added that their commitment and contributions would continue to inspire future generations and encouraged them to utilise their experience and wisdom for the betterment of society even after retirement. He also advised them to lead healthy, positive and balanced lives while making prudent use of their resources.

The event witnessed participation from senior executives, officers, employees and family members of the retirees. Each retiring employee was felicitated with shawls, bouquets and mementos as a mark of respect and gratitude for their years of dedicated service to the organisation.
