NTPC Vindhyachal Dominates Swarn Shakti & Business Excellence Awards at IPS O&M Conference 2026
Wins Overall Champion title along with four Swarn Shakti Awards, reinforcing leadership in operational excellence, safety and HR practices

NTPC Vindhyachal has once again reaffirmed its industry leadership by securing four prestigious Swarn Shakti Awards at the Indian Power Stations (O&M) Conference 2026 held in Raipur.
The station was honoured with the Swarn Shakti Award for O&M Productivity (jointly with NTPC Lara), Swarn Shakti Award for Safety O&M in the category of coal stations above 2000 MW, and the Swarn Shakti Award for HR. Adding to this remarkable achievement, Vindhyachal also received the coveted Overall Champion (Winner) – Swarn Shakti Award along with the Champion & Overall Excellence Award for Business Excellence.

These accolades reflect Vindhyachal’s relentless focus on operational excellence, supported by robust maintenance practices, efficiency optimisation, and a strong sustainability framework ensuring high reliability in power generation.

The awards were presented by Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Power, and Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC Limited, in the presence of the company’s Board of Directors. The honours were received by Diwakar Kaushik, Regional Executive Director (North), and Sanjib Kumar Saha, Chief General Manager, NTPC Vindhyachal, during the inaugural ceremony of the conference.
