BCCL CMD Conducts Surprise Inspection at Coal Bhawan, Checks Attendance Registers

Officials and employees found reporting late were cautioned, while strict warning was issued that absenteeism without valid reasons would invite disciplinary action

The Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), Manoj Kumar Agarwal, conducted a surprise inspection at the Coal Bhawan Headquarters on Monday, reviewing attendance and functioning across multiple departments.

During the inspection, the CMD visited key departments including Administration, Law, Officer Establishment, Manpower & Planning, Industrial Relations, Public Relations, and Official Language. He personally examined attendance registers of officers and employees to assess punctuality and workplace discipline.

Mr. Agarwal stated that such surprise inspections would continue across various operational areas of the company. He emphasized that no laxity would be tolerated regarding attendance and adherence to prescribed working hours.

Highlighting the importance of punctuality and accountability, the CMD noted that regular attendance and disciplined work practices are essential for ensuring efficient and timely execution of organizational responsibilities.
