Retired Visakhapatnam Steel Plant DGM Donates Blood for the 22nd Time, Inspires Community Service

He donated blood at the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre to support a patient from Rayagada who is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital

Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to social service, Sri Penumatsa Sai Baba Raju (64), a retired Deputy General Manager from the Instrumentation Department of the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited’s Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, donated blood for the 22nd time, responding promptly to a request for O Positive blood.

He donated blood at the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre to support a patient from Rayagada who is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Even after retiring from a distinguished career at the steel plant, Sri Sai Baba Raju continues to dedicate his time to community service. He is an active Sevadal member of the Ukkunagaram Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi and regularly participates in Narayana Seva, organised every Sunday to serve the needy.

Members of the Sai fraternity and well-wishers have widely appreciated his noble gesture, praising his humanitarian spirit, service attitude and social responsibility.

Sri Sai Baba Raju’s consistent commitment to blood donation and community service stands as a powerful inspiration for others to come forward and contribute towards saving precious lives.
