CEO NSPCL Diwakar Kaushik Reviews NTPC Vindhyachal Operations, Boosts Team Morale

As part of his engagement with employees, Kaushik held detailed interactions with Station Management Committee (SMC) members

NTPC Vindhyachal had the privilege of hosting Diwakar Kaushik, CEO of NSPCL and Regional Executive Director (North), NTPC Ltd, on March 18, 2026, for a comprehensive review of station operations and ongoing initiatives. The visit underscored NTPC’s continued focus on operational excellence, technological innovation, and employee engagement.

During his visit, Kaushik toured key facilities across the station. At the Unit-12 overhauling site, he closely observed the advanced cleaning of LP turbine diffuser blades using dry ice blasting and appreciated the adoption of modern and efficient maintenance practices.

The visit also covered several critical installations, including Ash Dyke V1, Small Hydro project, Surya Nala Bridge, Stage-III Control Room and Viewpoint, as well as the Carbon-to-Methanol Plant—highlighting the station’s diversified operational capabilities and sustainability-oriented initiatives.

As part of his engagement with employees, Kaushik held detailed interactions with Station Management Committee (SMC) members, focusing on plant performance and future operational strategies. He also interacted with the VSR Overhauling Group, young executives, and representatives from unions and associations, fostering open dialogue and encouraging collaborative growth.

To mark the occasion, NTPC Vindhyachal organised a vibrant cultural evening in honour of Diwakar Kaushik and Saptarshi Roy, Former Director (HR), NTPC Ltd. The programme commenced with ceremonial lamp lighting followed by the NTPC Geet.

Welcoming the dignitaries, Sanjib Kumar Saha, CGM (Vindhyachal), highlighted the station’s rich cultural ethos and its commitment to nurturing in-house talent.

The evening featured a series of captivating performances by employees and students. These included presentations by the Welfare Wing of Suhasini Sangh, a Ramayana skit by DPS students, and a colourful Rajasthani folk dance by De Paul School students.

A melodious flute recital by Saurabh Banudha, DGM (IT), along with his team, and soulful renditions by Mukesh Kashyap, AGM (MGR), and Ravindra Mishra, Jr Officer (HR), enthralled the audience.

Adding a special touch, both Diwakar Kaushik and Saptarshi Roy took to the stage with musical performances, delighting the audience and creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. The dignitaries appreciated the performances and commended NTPC Vindhyachal for successfully blending operational excellence with a vibrant cultural environment.
