GRSE Hits Record Turnover of ₹6,400 Crore, Declares 129% Interim Dividend

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has achieved its highest-ever annual turnover, reaching ₹6,400 crore (provisional & unaudited) in FY 2025–26, compared to ₹5,076 crore in FY 2024–25.
The company has also announced an interim dividend of 129%, a sharp increase from 89.5% in the previous financial year, underlining its strong financial performance.
Major Naval Milestones
FY 2025–26 marked a landmark year for GRSE in naval shipbuilding:
- Commissioned five key vessels, including:
- INS Himgiri (first Project 17A Advanced Frigate)
- INS Ikshak (third Survey Vessel Large)
- Three ASW-SWC vessels: INS Arnala, INS Androth, INS Anjadip
- Delivered eight warships to the Indian Navy:
- 2 Project 17A frigates
- 2 Survey Vessel Large ships
- 4 Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Crafts
- Achieved a rare feat with the simultaneous delivery of three warships — Dunagiri, Sanshodhak, and Agray — on the same day.
- Currently in advanced stages of securing a major contract for five Next Generation Corvettes.
Diversification & Export Growth
GRSE expanded its footprint beyond warship construction into:
- Specialised platforms: Acoustic ships, coastal and ocean research vessels
- Commercial segment: Hybrid ferries and other vessels
- Exports: Progress on 12 vessels for a German client
- International projects: Construction of a dredger for a friendly foreign nation
The shipyard also remains the only Defence PSU manufacturing prefabricated steel bridges, achieving a milestone with a Modular Foot Suspension Bridge capable of spanning 400 feet without piers.
Technology, Partnerships & Innovation
GRSE strengthened its technological capabilities through:
- Launch of a Next Generation Virtual Reality (NGVR) Lab
- Strategic MoUs with leading players including:
- Hindustan Shipyard Limited
- Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited
- Reintjes GmbH
The shipyard also continued momentum with GAINS 2025, its flagship innovation initiative.

GRSE’s performance earned it 26 prestigious awards (‘26 in 26’), including the “Excellence in Financial Performance” Award presented by Rajnath Singh.
