Safety Pledge and Awareness Rally Organised in Lodna Area of BCCL

A safety pledge ceremony and awareness rally were successfully organised in the Lodna area of Bharat Coking Coal Limited to reinforce workplace safety culture and promote adherence to safety protocols among employees.
The programme aimed at enhancing awareness regarding safety standards and encouraging personnel to adopt safe working practices in their day-to-day operations. As part of the initiative, safety-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were disseminated across various units, including the Lodna production area, to ensure strict compliance with workplace safety norms.
On the occasion, Lodna Area General Manager Anil Kumar Sinha and Manager (Human Resources) Arindam Kundu administered the safety oath to security personnel and employees present at the event.
Further strengthening the initiative, Assistant Manager Parvez Alam and Manager (Mining) Ajit Kumar Yadav elaborated on safety-related SOPs, providing practical insights to employees and sensitising them towards effective implementation of safety measures.
The safety awareness rally carried the strong message of “Safety First”, urging employees to ensure that all operations are carried out strictly in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
Such initiatives are regularly undertaken by BCCL as part of its ongoing commitment to achieving the goal of “Zero Accident” and fostering a safe, secure, and healthy work environment across its operational areas.
