Expressing deep concern over the non-release of increased Dearness Relief (DR) effective January 1, 2026, pensioners of BSNL and MTNL have come together under a joint platform, alleging possible government inaction. In a unified move, multiple pensioners’ associations resolved to intensify their protest through coordinated demonstrations and a nationwide dharna, while simultaneously pressing top government authorities for immediate intervention and timely disbursement of pending DR dues.
