BCCL Organizes Bidders’ Meet at Annapurna Hall, Koyla Bhawan
Detailed Discussion on Coal Lifting and Improved Dispatch with E-Auction Consumers

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) organized a bidders’ meet (NRS Consumer Meet 2026) today at Annapurna Hall, Koyla Bhawan for NRS Linkage Auction and Coal India Limited SWMA e-auction consumers. The meeting was primarily आयोजित for successful bidders who had booked coal in e-auctions held between March 18 and April 2, as well as participants of the upcoming e-auction scheduled for the following day.
The meeting was chaired by BCCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), Mr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal. On this occasion, Director (Human Resources) Mr. Murli Krishna Ramaiah, Director (Technical-Operations) Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, General Manager (Marketing & Sales) Mr. Hitesh Verma, along with General Managers from various areas, project officials, regional sales and quality managers, contractors, operators, transporters associated with coal dispatch, and departmental heads from Koyla Bhawan were present.

The primary objective of the meeting was to ensure smooth and timely lifting of coal booked during the e-auctions conducted between March 18 and April 2, and to provide necessary support to consumers for effective execution of the bid quantities. During the meeting, provisions related to the cashback discount scheme (based on actual lifting) were shared, and queries and issues raised by consumers were addressed.
The program commenced with the welcome of guests, followed by the National Anthem and the Coal India song. The welcome address was delivered by General Manager (Marketing & Sales), Mr. Hitesh Verma, who highlighted the importance and relevance of the meeting.

In his address, CMD Mr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal stated that the e-auctions conducted recently received an encouraging response, and the company is fully committed to ensuring timely supply of quality coal to all its consumers. He urged consumers to take full advantage of the facilities provided and ensure timely lifting of the allotted quantities. He also emphasized that the company is continuously strengthening logistics, quality control, and transparency to provide better and seamless services.
Detailed discussions were held on various aspects of coal dispatch through rail and road, with a focus on improving coordination among all stakeholders. It was also emphasized that consumers should receive uninterrupted, transparent, and prompt services. During the meeting, CMD Mr. Agarwal interacted directly with consumers to understand their expectations and suggestions, and issued necessary directions to officials and concerned departments. Consumers also shared their feedback and experiences, to which the company management assured appropriate action.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Director (Human Resources), Mr. Murli Krishna Ramaiah.
