S. N. Panigrahi, Chief General Manager (HR) & RHOHR (NR & SR), NTPC Limited, undertook a comprehensive and purpose-driven visit to NTPC Vindhyachal, reinforcing the organisation’s focus on people-centric initiatives, sustainability, and operational excellence.

The visit commenced with a warm reception at Surya Bhawan Guest House, setting the stage for a series of impactful engagements across key functional areas.

Focus on Employee Engagement & Sustainability

During his visit, Panigrahi, in the presence of Sandeep Naik, Executive Director (Singrauli), and Sanjib Kumar Saha, CGM (Vindhyachal), inaugurated the NR IRSM 2025–26 Cricket Tournament at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Stadium.

He also participated in a plantation drive, underlining NTPC’s continued commitment to environmental sustainability and employee engagement initiatives.

Empowering Young Minds & Community Outreach

A visit to the DPS school saw Panigrahi interact with students and GEM girls, where he motivated young minds with encouraging words. As part of the outreach initiative, 51 solar lamps were distributed to the students, promoting sustainable living and social responsibility.

Operational Excellence & Innovation

Shri Panigrahi undertook detailed reviews of critical operational areas, including the Carbon to Methanol plant and the Stage-III Control Room. He interacted with engineers and commended their dedication to maintaining high standards of efficiency and innovation.

At the Regional Learning Institute (RLI), he explored advanced training infrastructure, including a state-of-the-art simulator facility and AR–VR module room. Interactions with faculty members and Fresh Job Trainees (FJTs) highlighted NTPC’s emphasis on continuous learning and capability development.

Strengthening Industrial Relations & Welfare

The visit also featured constructive meetings with various unions and associations, fostering open dialogue and strengthening industrial harmony. His participation in the SMC meeting reaffirmed NTPC’s commitment to participative management practices.

Later, Panigrahi visited Vindhya Hospital, where he reviewed key healthcare facilities such as the Blood Bank and CT scan unit. He interacted with medical staff, underscoring NTPC’s strong focus on employee welfare and community healthcare.
