In a significant recognition of excellence in infrastructure consultancy, RITES Ltd has been honoured at the EPC World Awards for its role in the Ahmedabad Metro Phase-II project.
RITES received the award for its contribution as General Consultant in the execution of the अहमदाबाद Metro Phase-II corridor, a key urban transport project connecting Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The project is seen as a major step toward strengthening regional connectivity and enhancing urban mobility in Gujarat.
Spanning 28.26 km, the metro corridor significantly expands the region’s public transport network. It is designed to improve ease of commute, reduce traffic congestion, and encourage a shift toward sustainable and efficient mass transit systems.
As General Consultant, RITES played a crucial role in maintaining high standards across engineering design, project management, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle. The implementation also incorporated modern systems and operational frameworks aimed at improving efficiency and enhancing commuter experience.
