NBCC (India) Limited has signed two strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), marking a significant step toward accelerating urban infrastructure development and strengthening project financing frameworks.
Revitalizing August Kranti Bhawan
Under the first MoU, NBCC will collaborate with HUDCO for the redevelopment of the iconic August Kranti Bhawan located at Bhikaji Cama Place.

- Monetization of developed assets
This redevelopment is expected to transform the site into a modern, high-value urban asset, contributing to the capital’s evolving infrastructure landscape.

Under this agreement:
- HUDCO will provide funding support for NBCC’s ongoing and upcoming projects
- Financing will be structured on mutually agreed commercial terms
- NBCC will manage project execution and offer marketing consultancy
This synergy is designed to strengthen NBCC’s self-sustainable project model, particularly in asset monetization and large-scale redevelopment initiatives.
Boost to Infrastructure and Asset Value
The collaboration between NBCC and HUDCO is expected to:
- Accelerate project execution timelines
- Enhance asset valuation through structured redevelopment
- Strengthen financing mechanisms for infrastructure projects
- Support India’s broader urban transformation agenda
By combining HUDCO’s financial strength with NBCC’s execution expertise, the partnership is set to play a pivotal role in shaping modern urban infrastructure across India.
