BEML Bags ₹80 Crore Indian Railways Order for Utility Track Vehicles

State-owned engineering major BEML Limited has bagged a fresh order worth over ₹80 crore from Indian Railways for the supply of specialised Utility Track Vehicles, further strengthening its position in the rail infrastructure segment.
The contract entails the design, manufacturing, and delivery of Utility Track Vehicles aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, maintenance capabilities, and safety standards across railway networks. These vehicles play a critical role in track inspection, repair, and logistics support, making them an essential component of modern railway operations.
This latest order adds momentum to BEML’s growing order book, particularly in the rail and metro business, where the company has been steadily expanding its footprint. The development also reinforces BEML’s long-standing association with Indian Railways, one of its key institutional clients.
