Rajeev Kumar Sinha Takes Additional Charge as Director (Technical/Planning & Projects) of BCCL
An IIT (ISM) Dhanbad graduate in Mining Engineering, Sinha also holds an M.Tech in Environmental Science & Engineering and First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency
Rajeev Kumar Sinha, presently Director (Technical) of CMPDIL, has assumed additional charge as Director (Technical/Planning & Projects), Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) with effect from May 1, 2026. The appointment has been made following approval of the Ministry of Coal and subsequent orders of Coal India Limited.
With this, Sinha joins the Board of BCCL as Director and Key Managerial Personnel. A seasoned mining technocrat, he has over 34 years of rich experience in the coal sector and has served in several important positions in BCCL, CCL and CMPDIL.
An IIT (ISM) Dhanbad graduate in Mining Engineering, Sinha also holds an M.Tech in Environmental Science & Engineering and First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency.
He is widely recognized for his expertise in mine planning, environmental management, project development and corporate technical strategy.
After assuming charge at Coal Bhawan Headquarters, Sinha said he would work with full commitment for BCCL’s overall growth and for effective planning and timely execution of projects.
Senior officials of the company congratulated him and expressed confidence that his vast technical experience and leadership would provide fresh momentum to BCCL’s future projects.
