NTPC Vindhyachal Bags Platinum Trophy at Prestigious IBC OHS&E Excellence Awards 2026
The award honours NTPC for setting benchmarks in occupational health, fire safety, sustainability and industrial risk management
In yet another major national recognition of its robust industrial safety systems, NTPC Vindhyachal has been conferred the prestigious Platinum Trophy and Certificate under the Fire Safety Excellence in Manufacturing (Organization) Category at the IBC Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHS&E) Excellence Awards 2026.
The award was presented during the 2nd Edition of the IBC HSE Summit-cum-Award Ceremony held at Radisson MIDC, Mumbai on April 30, a leading national platform that honours organizations setting benchmarks in occupational health, fire safety, sustainability and industrial risk management.
The coveted honour was received on behalf of NTPC Vindhyachal by Biswajeet Deori, Deputy General Manager (O&M Civil).

Notably, this is the latest in a series of high-profile recognitions for the station. NTPC Vindhyachal had recently also secured the Environment Excellence 2026 Award for sustainable thermal power generation and earlier this year won the IBC Agni Suraksha Puraskar 2026 for exemplary fire safety performance, underlining its sustained leadership across multiple dimensions of operational excellence.
