SCOPE APSE Empowers CPSU Executives with Weeklong Leadership Development Program
The program witnessed participation from around 50 executives representing nearly 20 CPSUs across the country

The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises through its training arm, SCOPE Academy of Public Sector Enterprises, successfully conducted a weeklong Executive Development Program for junior and mid-level executives of Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), reinforcing its commitment to capacity building and leadership development in the public sector.
The program was inaugurated by Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE. Addressing the participants, he emphasized the critical importance of continuous learning, skilling, and reskilling in today’s rapidly evolving professional landscape. He underscored that learning is a lifelong journey—extending from “cradle to grave”—and must remain an ongoing pursuit for sustained growth and relevance.
Themed ‘The Career Journey to Personal Effectiveness and Leadership’, the program witnessed participation from around 50 executives representing nearly 20 CPSUs across the country. It served as a platform for enhancing managerial competencies, leadership capabilities, and personal effectiveness.
The valedictory session was addressed by Ayush Gupta, Director (HR), GAIL (India) Limited and Member, SCOPE Executive Board, who also distributed certificates to the participants. In his address, Gupta highlighted that while opportunities are universally available, they are often overlooked. He stressed that true talent lies in the ability to recognize, seize, and maximize these opportunities to achieve success.
APSE, established with the vision of creating a robust and future-ready talent pool, continues to play a pivotal role in grooming competent, efficient, and high-potential managers across all executive levels in the public sector.
