NTPC Bongaigaon Wins National Honours for Excellence in Safety and CSR

Reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence, workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and community development, NTPC Limited’s Bongaigaon station has received two prestigious national awards for outstanding performance in Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHS&E) management and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

NTPC Bongaigaon was conferred the Gold Category in the OHS&E Excellence Award 2026 by the International Business Conference (IBC) in recognition of its exemplary standards in occupational health, safety, and environmental management. The award was received by Rajiv Ranjan, AGM (Safety) on behalf of the station.

Adding another feather to its cap, NTPC Bongaigaon was also honoured with the 12th Greentech CSR Award 2026 in the Healthcare Promotion (Rural) category. The award recognizes the station’s sustained efforts to improve healthcare accessibility and enhance community well-being through impactful CSR initiatives. Ms. Smriti Das, Executive (CSR, LA & R&R) received the award on behalf of the organization.

The awards were subsequently presented to Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, who congratulated the Safety and CSR teams for their dedication and collective efforts in achieving the national recognition.

He appreciated the commitment of employees and stakeholders in maintaining high standards of safety, environmental management, and community engagement, and encouraged the teams to continue striving for excellence across all operational areas.
