ITDC, SCOPE and LBSNAA Launch ‘AI Champions for Digital Governance’ Programme for Public Sector Leaders
Three-day AI capacity-building initiative equips senior government and PSU officials with practical skills in Generative AI, predictive analytics and machine learning for digital governance
India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), in collaboration with Standing Conference of Public Enterprises and Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, has launched the landmark ‘AI Champions for Digital Governance’ programme, aimed at strengthening artificial intelligence capabilities among government and public sector leaders.
The inaugural session of the three-day programme, being held at Hotel Samrat in New Delhi, was addressed by S. Radha Chauhan, Vivek Aggarwal, Atul Sobti, Mugdha Sinha and Ganesh Shankar Mishra.
The initiative reflects the continued collaboration between SCOPE and ITDC in promoting strategic capacity building and professional development across the public sector. The programme represents a significant step towards preparing government institutions for the next phase of digital transformation through the adoption of artificial intelligence.
Organised at Hotel Samrat, the programme has drawn participants from various ministries and public sector undertakings (PSUs). The first day is dedicated to senior leaders and the Senior Management Cohort, focusing on AI strategy, governance and leadership. Over the following two days, the Managerial Cohort will participate in four intensive hands-on training batches covering AI-assisted office productivity, intelligent data extraction, and practical applications of Generative AI.
Designed as a first-of-its-kind learning initiative, the programme combines strategic leadership perspectives with practical training in Generative AI, predictive analytics and machine learning. It aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve decision-making and accelerate digital governance across India’s public sector ecosystem.
