Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution:
- ITI (NCVT) in the relevant trade
- Full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology
- Full-time BE/B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline
- Full-time B.Com or BBA degree
Eligible Passing Years: 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India and NLC India rules.
NLC Apprentice Stipend 2026
- ITI Trade Apprentice: ₹12,000 per month
- Diploma Apprentice: ₹12,524 per month
- Graduate Engineering Apprentice: ₹15,028 per month
- Graduate Non-Engineering Apprentice: ₹12,524 per month
Selection Process
Selection will be purely on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- ITI Apprentices: Based on NCVT marks.
- Diploma Apprentices: Based on Diploma percentage.
- Graduate Engineering Apprentices: Based on BE/B.Tech marks.
- Graduate Non-Engineering Apprentices: Based on B.Com/BBA marks.
Tie-Breaking Criteria
- If two or more candidates secure the same percentage, the older candidate (by date of birth) will be given preference.
- Where CGPA/Grades are awarded, the percentage will be calculated as per the university norms or by multiplying CGPA/Grade by 10 wherever applicable.
