Petronet LNG Hosts Second Finance & IT Meet, Focuses on Digital Transformation and Future-Ready Finance

The two-day event served as a platform for insightful discussions, brainstorming sessions and knowledge-sharing, complemented by engaging interactions with domain experts

Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) successfully hosted the second edition of its Finance & IT Meet, “Catalyst,” at its Corporate Office in New Delhi on 7–8 August 2026, bringing together Finance and IT professionals from across the company to exchange ideas, strengthen collaboration and accelerate digital transformation.

The two-day event served as a platform for insightful discussions, brainstorming sessions and knowledge-sharing, complemented by engaging interactions with domain experts. The meet focused on equipping the organisation to embrace emerging technologies while enhancing efficiency, governance and business agility.

Addressing the gathering, Saurav Mitra, Director (Finance) & CFO, Petronet LNG Limited, said, “Catalyst reflects the continuing journey to build a more agile, technology-enabled and future-ready organisation. As Petronet LNG Ltd. grows and diversifies, Finance must evolve alongside the business, using technology to enable growth, strengthen governance and support faster, informed decision-making.”

He outlined six strategic focus areas for the next phase of transformation—automation, integration, real-time analytics, digitisation, cybersecurity and capability building—emphasising that sustained progress across these pillars would enable the Finance function to play an increasingly strategic role in the company’s growth journey.

Reinforcing PLL’s commitment to sustainability, the Finance & IT Meet was organised as a carbon-neutral event, reflecting the company’s broader environmental responsibilities while advancing its digital transformation agenda.

The “Catalyst” initiative underscores Petronet LNG’s vision of not merely streamlining systems but building a strong digital foundation that will support innovation, operational excellence and long-term organisational growth.
