IOCL officers are set to boycott lunch in protest against growing concerns over their safety and security while discharging official duties. The Indian Oil Officers’ Association (IOOA), in a letter to the Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, has highlighted a series of incidents involving threats, intimidation and physical attacks on officers and demanded comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and institutional support to protect personnel working in the field.
