NCOA Urges PM Modi for Swift Justice in Killing of IndianOil Officer Mahesh Shelke
Officers’ body seeks time-bound probe, accountability and stronger safety protocols for field officials

The National Confederation of Officers’ Associations (NCOA), representing executives of Central Public Sector Enterprises, has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure a swift, time-bound and transparent investigation into the killing of IndianOil Retail Sales Manager Mahesh Annarao Shelke, who was killed on October 6 while performing his official duty in Maharashtra.
The association, in a representation dated October 7, sought expeditious legal proceedings, accountability for any established lapses, a comprehensive review of safety protocols for officers handling sensitive field assignments and appropriate institutional support for the bereaved family.
