SIDBI CMD Meets Uttarakhand CM Dhami, Will Fund Rs. 350 Crores For Development Of Industrial Clusters In The State
SIDBI has become an ally in the industrial development of the state, says Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami
The Chairman and Managing Director of SIDBI and other officers from the organization met Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami at the camp office at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. Chief Minister, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, expected SIDBI to be an ally in industrial development in the state and said that the environment of the state is conducive to industries. It is our aim to establish more and more industries in the MSME sector along with big industries in the state. For this, industry-friendly policies are also being prepared. The Chief Minister said that whatever action has to be taken at the level of the State Government in relation to the proposal given by SIDBI, it will be done on priority basis.
SIDBI Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Sivasubramanian Raman apprised the Chief Minister that SIDBI is ready to cooperate in promoting industrialization by developing MSME clusters in the state by funding 350 crores. He said that this funding is to be done to the state under the SIDBI Cluster Development Fund of the Government of India, through SIDCUL. Sitarganj Plastic Park, Electronic Manufacturing Cluster Kashipur, Khadi Mall Uttarakhand and Aroma Park Udham Singh Nagar have been proposed by SIDCUL. These proposals will be sent from the State Finance Department to the Government of India for the approval of SIDBI Fund.
