As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign, CIL have installed an AI dustbin at the corporate headquarters in Kolkata. CIL Chairman, P.M. Prasad, FDs and CVO observed the operational features of the innovative dustbin.
This advanced dustbin is specifically designed for collecting plastic bottles and features an automated notification system. Once the bin reaches 50% capacity, it will automatically alert the cleaning staff, ensuring timely waste disposal and preventing overflow and maintenance problems.
