AICPA Appreciates Peddapally MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna For Raising Plight Of Coal Pensioners In Parliament

The association says that the efforts of Vamsikrishna will be remembered by coal pensioners

Peddapally MP, Gaddam Vamsi Krishna, has raised the plight of coal pensioners in the Lok Sabha. He said that currently workers are getting only ₹1500 under the pension scheme started by Kaka Venkataswamy, 35 years ago, which is totally unfair. The workers who have provided light to the country throughout their lives have demanded from the Center that their pension should be increased immediately to ₹10,000 so that they can live with dignity and financial security after retirement.

An elated P.K. Singh Rathore, Convenor of the All India Coal Pensioners’ Association (AICPA), has lauded the Member of Parliament for raising the long-pending demands of coal pensioners of the country.
