AIRF To Protest For Restoration Of Old Pension Scheme In New Delhi Tomorrow
AIDEF and some other unions also to participate in the dharna to be held at Jantar Mantar
The All India Railwaymens’ Federation (AIRF) is holding a big protest tomorrow at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. All Central Government and Railway employees who joined service after 01/01/2004, are entitled to New Pension Scheme (NPS) and have been demanding that they be included in the Old Pension Scheme (OPS).
The AIRF and other trade unions have formed Joint Forum for Restoration of Old pension Scheme (JFROPS). Under this banner, the protest will be led tomorrow and would be led by Shiva Gopal Mishra, General Secretary of AIRF.
C. Srikumar, General Secretary of AIDEF confirmed to www.indianpsu.com that his organization would actively be participating in the dharna along with AIRF.
