Amarendu Prakash To Be New CMD Of SAIL

Public Sector Headhunter, Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), has recommended the name of Amarendu Prakash, presently serving as Director-in-charge (Bokaro Steel Plant), Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), as the new CMD of the steel behemoth PSU.

In all, nine contenders for the plum post were interviewed for the same. The names are given below for the benefit of the viewers of www.indianpsu.com –

4. Mr. Brijendra Pratap Singh, Director in-charge (Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plants), Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL)
5. Mr. Jagdish Arora, Executive Director, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL)
6. Mr. Rakesh Tumane, Director (Finance), MOIL Limited
7. Mr. Amitava Mukherjee, Director (Finance), NMDC Limited
8. Mr. Ashok Kumar Verma, Higher Administrative Grade, Indian Railways Stores Service
9. Mr. Yatendra Kumar, Additional General Manager, Indian Railways Service of Electrical Engineering
