BEL Signs MoU with NIRNAYA Systems to Expand IT, Cybersecurity and AI Solutions
The MoU is aimed at combining BEL's scale, reach and public-sector credibility with NIRNAYA Systems' technology
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), India’s Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NIRNAYA Systems & Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to jointly pursue business opportunities in IT infrastructure, data centres, cybersecurity, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), healthcare IT, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), software development and analytics platforms.
The MoU is aimed at combining BEL’s scale, reach and public-sector credibility with NIRNAYA Systems’ technology and solutions expertise to identify, pursue and deliver projects across emerging digital technology domains.
The agreement was exchanged by Anuradha Mahur, General Manager (Civilian Marketing), BEL, and Binay Pratap Shahi, Co-Founder, NIRNAYA Systems & Solutions, in the presence of Manoj Kumar Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, BEL; Anoop Kumar Rai, Director (Marketing), BEL; Arvind Kumar, Founder, NIRNAYA; Srinivas Jha, CTO, NIRNAYA, and senior officials from both organisations.
The partnership covers a broad technology portfolio, including IT infrastructure, data centres, cybersecurity, ERP, healthcare IT solutions, AI/ML-based applications, allied software development and analytics platforms.
According to NIRNAYA Systems, the collaboration will provide an opportunity to take its expertise in cybersecurity, data centres and AI/ML-driven solutions to a larger market while leveraging BEL’s established scale and public-sector presence.
The collaboration is also part of BEL’s strategy to expand its footprint in the non-defence and civilian technology space. The company intends to build on its established capabilities in electronics and systems integration to address growing demand for IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and digital transformation solutions across government and enterprise sectors in India.
BEL, a Navratna Defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence, was established in 1954 and is headquartered in Bengaluru. The company is engaged in the design, development, manufacture, supply and support of a wide range of defence electronics products and systems, besides select non-defence products and services.
