CCL Bids Warm Farewell to Retiring Employees with Respect and Affection
All retiring employees were honoured with shawls, bouquets, and mementos as a token of respect, affection, and gratitude

In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and recognition, Central Coalfields Limited on Wednesday organized a grand and dignified felicitation ceremony at its Headquarters in Ranchi to honour employees retiring in April 2026. The company continued its long-standing tradition of according respectful send-offs to superannuating personnel across its headquarters and operational regions.
Three employees retiring from the Headquarters were specially felicitated during the ceremony, while similar farewell programmes were simultaneously held in various CCL regional offices, ensuring that all employees retiring during the month received a dignified and memorable send-off.
A short emotional film was screened during the programme at CCL Headquarters, capturing the experiences, memories, and heartfelt reflections of the retiring employees during their years of service. The presentation created an atmosphere of nostalgia and pride among those present.

The employees retiring from the headquarters include:
- Ram Avtar Prasad Baranwal, Foreman (I/C), E&M Maintenance Department
- M.D. Mustafa, Foreman (E&M), Civil Department
- Tabarak Ansari, Assistant Foreman, E&M Maintenance Department
The ceremony was graced by General Manager (Welfare) Sanjay Thakur, General Manager (P&IR) Pratul Kumar, and General Manager (HRD) Fayazul Haq as chief guests.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries said retirement marks not an end, but the beginning of a new journey in life. They praised the retirees for their dedication, commitment, and valuable contribution in taking the company to greater heights over the years.
“Your experience, discipline, and sincerity have strengthened the organisation. We are confident that in the coming years too, you will continue to inspire society with your positive thinking, activism, and guidance,” they said.
A large number of general managers, officers, employees, and family members of the retirees attended the ceremony. All retiring employees were honoured with shawls, bouquets, and mementos as a token of respect, affection, and gratitude.
CCL has been consistently organising such “Samman Samaroh” farewell functions every month across its headquarters and regional offices, reflecting the PSU’s deep-rooted culture of valuing human contribution and institutional loyalty.
