- System: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT, or any first-class degree with MCA
- E&T: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation or equivalent
- Industrial Engineering: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production & Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Engineering & Operations Research
Specialist Disciplines
- Geology: M.Sc./M.Tech in Geology, Applied Geology, Geophysics or Applied Geophysics
- Rajbhasha: M.A. in Hindi with prescribed academic requirements

Coal India MT Salary 2026
Selected candidates will be appointed as Management Trainees in E-1 Grade.
Pay Structure
- Basic Pay: ₹60,000 per month
- Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000

Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of:
