Even after opting for voluntary retirement, Sarma continues to embody the true spirit of service

In a remarkable act of compassion and selfless service, JVSS Sarma, former General Manager (Projects) at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited—the corporate entity of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant—has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to humanity by donating his rare O-negative blood for the 39th time.
“Guided by the blessings of Sathya Sai Baba, Sarma responded to an urgent call to help a patient in need of heart surgery at Medicover Hospital. His timely donation proved vital, as O-negative blood is universally compatible and often crucial in emergency medical situations”, say his colleagues.
Even after opting for voluntary retirement, Sarma continues to embody the true spirit of service. Known for his deep-rooted humanitarian values, he has consistently donated blood every three months, setting an inspiring benchmark for others.
