Investors Meet For Sale Of Non-Core Assets Of RINL Draws Good Response

National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC)/ Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL)/ National Land Monetisation Corporation (NLMC) held an Investors meet at Visakhapatnam on 27.02.2024 towards Outright Sale of Land Parcel Blocks/Plots owned by the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, the Corporate Entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

The purpose of Investors meet was to showcase the property (non-core assets) of RINL besides attracting and also to clarify the queries of the investors and others.
Shri G Rajaram GM (Engineering), NBCC, Shri G Gandhi, Chief General Manager (HR), RINL and Shri Rohin Koppuravuri, GM, NLMC interacted with the Investors and others at the Investors Meet.

RINL presently owns different Land Plots/Blocks admeasuring total 13.89 Acres spread over at HB Colony- Maddilapalem (11.80 acres), Auto Nagar (2.0 acres), Pedagantyada (0.089 acres) in Visakhapatnam. For the purpose of this Request for Proposal/E-auction 67,277 Square yard of land in the form of Plots/Blocks, with total 130 Nos are available for sale to the bidder (s). These non-core assets of RINL will be sold through online E-auction (through M/s Railtel) in a transparent manner.
The size of plot at HB colony varies from 129 to 450 Square yards and reserve price for the same is from Rs 70,200/- to Rs 85,800 /- per Square yard and total nos. of plots available are 111 Nos. The size of Block varies from 635 – 5350 Square yards and reserve price for the same is from Rs 78,000/- to Rs 85,800 /- per Square yard and total nos. of Blocks available are 14 Nos.

The size of Blocks at Auto nagar varies from 1676 – 2895 Square yard and reserve price for the same is from Rs 30,000/- to Rs 32,000 /- per Square yard and total nos. of Blocks available are 4 Nos.
The size of single Block available at Pegantyada is 435 Square yard and reserve price for the same is Rs 20,500/- per Square yard
The total value of the property at Reserve price is approx. Rs 480 Crores.

RFP (Request for Proposal) has been issued on 14.02.2024 with date of pre-bid meeting on 28.02.2024, Last date submission of EMD as 05.03.2024 and E-auction starts on 14.03.2024.
RINL/NBCC/NLMC has seen overwhelming response from the investors, bankers, bidders, developers and different organization including CREDAI besides many individual bidders who interacted actively with them.
