Maharatna PSU Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited online applications for the engagement of 1,450 Trade and Technician Apprentices at its Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973. The recruitment drive offers an excellent opportunity for ITI and Diploma holders to begin their careers with one of India’s largest public sector enterprises.
The online application process commenced on July 14, 2026, and interested candidates can submit their applications till August 12, 2026 through the prescribed online procedure.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates possessing the required ITI or Diploma qualifications in the relevant trades from recognized institutions are eligible to apply. Applicants must also satisfy the age and educational qualifications specified in the official notification.
Selection Process
A major highlight of this recruitment is that there will be no written examination or interview. Selection will be based purely on the marks obtained in the prescribed qualifying examination, followed by document verification and fulfillment of other eligibility conditions. Preference will be given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time, as per the Apprentices Act guidelines.
