Passenger Services to Begin from Noida International Airport on June 15; Airlines Cut Fares in Select Sectors

Passenger flight operations from Noida International Airport are set to commence from June 15, bringing a major boost to regional connectivity. IndiGo will launch flight services to four cities from the very first day, while Akasa Air has announced that it will begin its operations from June 16.
Airlines have already opened ticket bookings. Initially, higher fares had sparked concerns among passengers that traveling from Noida Airport could be more expensive compared to Delhi Airport. However, recent fare reductions have brought significant relief to travelers.
IndiGo has reduced fares on the Lucknow route by around ₹1,587. The ticket price, which was earlier ₹4,981, has now been lowered to ₹3,394. Meanwhile, Akasa Air has announced substantial fare cuts on the Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai routes. The Bengaluru fare has been reduced from ₹8,532 to ₹6,500, while fares to Navi Mumbai have also seen a reduction of around ₹1,500.
IndiGo has also made a slight reduction on the Hyderabad route, bringing fares down from ₹6,198 to ₹6,129. However, there has been no change in fares for the Amritsar route.
On the other hand, IndiGo has increased fares on the Bengaluru route. The ticket price, which was earlier ₹8,979, has now gone up to ₹9,687.
