NTPC Koldam’s CSR Department’s Women Empowerment Mission In Gram Panchayat Harnora
Menstrual hygiene kits were also distributed to all the women present in the session
The Corporate Social Responsibility Department of NTPC Koldam hosted a visit for Mrs. Amita Bhattacharya ji and Mrs. Sunitha J. with the project affected area women in Gram Panchayat Harnora. In her address, Mrs. Usha Ahirwar, President Sangini Sangh motivated the women to be independent and continue to contribute in the progress of our nation.
Under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav being run by the C.S.R. Department, an awareness session on menstrual hygiene was given by Dr. Harjeet Kaur. Menstrual hygiene kits were also distributed to all the women present in the session. Dr. Anjula Agarwal, Sr. Manager (CSR) informed that these 25 women are part of the ongoing 6-months Dress Making training course at Harnora center.
