NTPC Vindhyachal Engages Youth During Swachhta Pakhwada 2026

Reinforcing its commitment to community development and civic responsibility, NTPC Limited’s Vindhyachal unit marked Swachhta Pakhwada 2026 by actively engaging local youth in a series of awareness-driven initiatives.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students enrolled in the Army and Police Training Programme, aimed at preparing district youth for disciplined careers. As part of the campaign, a cleanliness rally was flagged off from the coaching institute, passing through Rajmata Chunkumari Stadium and returning to its starting point, spreading key messages on hygiene and sanitation among residents.

To deepen awareness and encourage active participation, quiz and debate competitions focusing on cleanliness, hygiene, and responsible citizenship were also organized. These activities not only tested knowledge but also instilled a sense of civic duty among the participants.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing winners across categories, along with consolation prizes to ensure broader motivation and inclusion.
