Plantation Program Marks Environment Day At SCOPE

"Our Land, Our Future, We are #GenerationRestoration," underscores SCOPE's commitment to fostering a greener and more sustainable future

The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) marked World Environment Day with a plantation program at the SCOPE Complex in New Delhi. This event, in line with the Environment Day theme “Our Land, Our Future, We are #GenerationRestoration,” underscores SCOPE’s commitment to fostering a greener and more sustainable future.

Shri Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay, Vice-Chairman of SCOPE and CMD of Goa Shipyard Ltd., along with Shri Atul Sobti, Director General of SCOPE, planted saplings, symbolizing their dedication to environmental sustainability. Senior officials of SCOPE were also present to support this initiative.

SCOPE’s efforts towards environmental sustainability are further enhanced through its collaboration with GIZ, Germany. This partnership aims to highlight and promote the initiatives of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in mitigating climate change, reinforcing the organization’s dedication to ecological conservation and sustainable development.
