PM Modi Inaugurates First RapidX Rail In Uttar Pradesh
The train, named Namo Bharat, will be connecting Delhi to Meerut in under one hour
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted the first RapidX train to the country. The Prime Minister inaugurated the RapidX Rail by flagging it off the at Sahibabad station at 11:30 am today and entered the platform after purchasing the ticket himself. During this, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, BJP State President Bhupendra Chaudhary and other dignitaries were present.
This train has been named Namo Bharat Train. But the big news is that the Prime Minister, like an ordinary man, walked to the window at the railway station, bought the ticket himself and traveled.
Some students were also present with PM Modi during the journey. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a clear message that the common people of Uttar Pradesh will travel in the world’s best high speed train and their journey will now be easy and convenient.
