PV Sindhu Is Pride Of The Nation And RINL

On the occasion of Ms. P.V. Sindhu’s recent glorious success at the Commonwealth Games, RINL collective felicitated her today at M.P. Hall, Ukkunagaram. Shri P.V. Ramana, renowned sportsperson and father of Ms. P.V. Sindhu was also felicitated. Addressing the gathering, Shri Atul Bhatt highlighted Ms PV Sindhu’s achievements and contributions to sports and promoting the brand image of RINL-Vizag Steel as its Brand Ambassador in the country and abroad.

Shri Atul Bhatt said that sports icon and Brand Ambassador of Vizag Steel Miss P.V. Sindhu is a new generation sports personality and a pride to the country and Vizag Steel. He expressed confidence that she will have a great future for her and wished that Ms. Sindu will win Gold at Paris 2024 Olympics.

Earlier Shri Atul Bhatt, Ms. P.V. Sindhu, Directors of RINL and Mrs. Nupur Bhatt, President, Visteel Mahila Samithi flagged off “Fit India Run” at Col. C.K. Naidu Ukku Stadium. Gas Balloons were released by CMD, Ms. P.V. Sindhu, Directors, CVO & President, VMS commemorating AKAM (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav). Ms. P.V. Sindhu also participated in the Swachchata Special Campaign 2.0 and presented cloth bags to contract workers. Later, she played an exhibition match with RINL CMD, Directors, Mrs. Nupur Bhatt and School Children in Ukku Indoor Stadium.

Prior to the felicitation of Ms, P.V. Sindhu, school children of Ukkunagaram gave a scintillating cultural programme on the theme of AKAM at M.P. Hall, Ukkunagaram.

Addressing the top officials of RINL, Ms. Sindhu expressed her gratitude to the management for reposing trust in her for becoming a “Brand Ambassador of RINL-Vizag Steel”. Responding to the felicitations, Ms. P.V. Sindhu acknowledged the support of RINL in strengthening sports and praised RINL for the several sports initiatives being taken up by RINL.

Later Ms. P.V. Sindhu interacted with customers, suppliers and other stake holders of RINL at Nagarjuna Hall, Management Development Centre (MDP Centre). Addressing on this occasion, Shri Atul Bhatt, CMD greatly commended the contributions made by the Customers and Vendors in the growth of VSP. Addressing the customers and vendors, Sri Atul Bhatt thanked them for their trust in RINL even during the severe pandemic and helped RINL in achieving the turnaround performance and expressed confidence that relations between RINL and its customers and vendors would further strengthen in the future.

Ms. P.V. Sindhu, RINL Brand Ambassador Visited the Vizag Steel Plant and expressed immense happiness at the state of the technology available at RINL and also interacted with the employees and contract workers.

Shri D.K. Mohanty, Director (Commercial), Shri A.K. Saxena, Director (Operations), Shri V.V. Venugopal Rao, Shri A. Md. Haneef, Commandant CISF, Smt. Nupur Bhatt, President, VMS, CGMs and Senior officials of RINL graced the occasion.
