Union Coal Minister Visits Coal India Limited

The Minister also chaired a review meeting and discussed pertinent matters related to coal production, despatch and supply

G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Coal and Mines, visited Coal India’s corporate office in Kolkata. At the outset, the Minister paid floral tributes at the Martyr’s memorial and planted saplings at the corporate office renewing Coal India’s commitment to green mining.

He later chaired a review meeting and discussed pertinent matters related to coal production, despatch and supply. He also reviewed the progress of Jharia Master Plan.

M. Nagaraju, Additional Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Coal, P.M. Prasad, Chairman, Coal India, Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director (Technical), Debasish Nanda, Director (Business Development), Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Marketing), Mukesh Agrawal, Director (Finance), Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, Chief Vigilance Officer, Samiran Dutta, CMD, BCCL, S K Singh D (T) BCCL, Executive Directors and senior officials of Coal India were present in the meeting.
