UPPSC Cancels RO/ARO Exam 2023 Recruitment Process Over Eligibility Irregularities
Decision taken after investigation found that some candidates failed to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria; recruitment for 331 posts stands cancelled
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has cancelled the RO/ARO Examination-2023 recruitment process for 331 posts after an investigation revealed that some candidates did not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. The preliminary examination result had been declared on January 7, 2024.
The decision follows complaints of irregularities in the Hindi and General Hindi Typing Test conducted during the second stage of the recruitment process. Citing the need to uphold fairness and transparency, UPPSC has scrapped the entire recruitment exercise.
