RINL DGM Karri Srinivas Donates O-Negative Blood for 59th Time
VSP official responds to an emergency call, donating his rare blood type to a critically anaemic patient at KIMS Hospital

Sri Karri Srinivas, Deputy General Manager at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), has once again demonstrated an exceptional commitment to selfless service by donating his rare O-negative blood for the 59th time.
Responding to an emergency requirement, Srinivas donated blood at KIMS Hospital, Sheelanagar, to 49-year-old Ms Md. Khammar from Vizianagaram, who was undergoing treatment for a kidney-related ailment and severe anaemia. Her haemoglobin level had reportedly fallen to 5.4.
His latest donation reflects a remarkable record of sustained voluntary blood donation and community service. His rare O-negative blood group makes his contribution particularly valuable during medical emergencies when compatible blood is urgently required.
Inspired by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings – “Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never” – Srinivas has continued to make voluntary blood donation an important part of his service to society.
The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Ukkunagaram, appreciated Srinivas for his exemplary spirit of Seva and his continued commitment to helping people in need.
