Walkathon/Run For Unity’ Organised As Part Of Vigilance Awareness Week-2023 At RINL
Higher officials from various organizations and the Steel Ministry have participated in the program
To commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a “Run for Unity / Walkathon” was organized jointly by the Sports and Vigilance departments of RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, today at Ukku Stadium.
As a part of Vigilance Awareness Week from 30th Oct to 5th Nov 2023, with the theme “Say no to corruption and commit to Nation”, Vigilance department of RINL organized a Walkathon//Run for Unity’ along with Sports department of RINL displaying the unity while campaigning the slogan “Say no to corruption and commit to Nation” on 31st October, Birth day of Sardar Valla Bhai Patel, former deputy prime minister of India indicating the solidarity and for Nation’s building.
Higher officials from various organizations and the Steel Ministry have participated in the program.
Shri Atul Bhatt-CMD RINL, flagged off the Walkathon/Run for Unity along with Dr. S Karuna Raju, IAS, Chief Vigilance Officer, RINL, Sri Sanjay Roy, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel, Govt of India, Sri T Saminathan, CMD, KIOCL (Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited), Sri Ajit Kumar Saxena-CMD, MOIL(Manganese Ore (India) Limited), Sri D K Mohanty, Director (Commercial),RINL and Sri S C Pandey-Director(Personnel) and additional charge Director (Finance), RINL.
The employees of RINL & children from various schools have participated in the walkathon enthusiastically from UKKU Stadium to Sector-6 Ambedkar Park, displaying the solidarity and their commitment.
Several school children, employees, school physical trainers, housewives and youth participated in the event. RINL’s Vigilance Dept. joined the activity as part of its campaign to celebrate Vigilance Awareness Week with an intent to fight against corruption.
