400 Persons Sent From Kedarnath To Lincholi As Uttarakhand CM Personally Monitors Rescue Operations

110 passengers sent on Chaumasi track reached Chaumasi safely

Continuous efforts are being made to rescue the passengers stranded on the Kedarnath Yatra route. CEO BKTC Yogendra Singh said that on the fourth day of the rescue operation, 373 passengers, local people and labourers stranded in Kedarnath Dham were helped by NDRF, SDRF and other security forces.

A flight has been dispatched to take them to Lincholi. All these will be rescued by airlifting them from Lincholi. At the same time, 570 passengers, local people and labourers are waiting to be airlifted at the Kedarnath helipad.

There is no dearth of people in Kedarnath for everyone. Food packets, water bottles, fruits are being provided by the District Administration, BKTCC and Tirtha Purohit Samaj.

On the other hand, 110 passengers have been rescued by NDRF and SDRF from Rambada Chaumasi track and have been taken to Chaumasi. Security forces on the track have continuously provided food packets, water and medical treatment to the passengers.

So far, more than 534 passengers and locals have been rescued from this route. People have been rescued.
