ICFA Appoints Shreyasi Agarwal As CEO

Shreyasi Agarwal, working as Director, Corporate Affairs and CEO for South India in ICFA, based in Bangalore, is appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture, who will assume office from March 1, 2025, and relocate to New Delhi.
A Biotech Engineer by education and a seasoned go-to-market strategist, Shreyasi brings extensive experience in building successful business enterprises across diverse industries, including
telecommunications, IT, banking, and food and agriculture-based startups through innovation, engagement and collaborative initiatives.
As the apex body and only chamber in food and agriculture, recognised by the Ministry of Commerce, ICFA serves as a convergence platform for policy advocacy, trade facilitation, technology, innovation, and
investments mobilisation in the agricultural sector. It acts as the leading platform to represent all
stakeholders and promotes India’s food and agriculture sector worldwide through Joint business Councils
and international collaborations. ICFA has recently reconstituted its Board with former Union Minister, Mr.
Suresh Prabhu joining as Chairman and former Secretary to Government of India, Dr. Tarun Shridhar as DG. The organisation has outlined its priorities to focus on the states and districts to elevate the agriculture to next level by bringing in global technologies and best practices, and creating state agriculture councils and district agriculture councils for implementation of programs on the ground.
Shreyasi is committed to strengthening ICFA’s mission to enhance agriculture’s contribution to the national GDP by enabling sustainable income growth for farmers through focus on agro trade and digital
technologies in agriculture, and strengthening Agtech Startups ecosystem. Her leadership will focus on
policy advocacy, promoting trade and agribusinesses, and enabling sustainable livelihoods, contributing
significantly toward achieving India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
