Uttarakhand CM Dhami Connects With Common Man – CM Helpline Impact
CM Dhami Personally Follows Up With Complainants to Ensure Resolution

In a proactive move to evaluate the effectiveness of the CM Helpline – 1905, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami interacted directly with several complainants on Wednesday to take first-hand feedback on the resolution of their issues. This initiative comes after CM Dhami had recently issued firm instructions to government departments to resolve pending complaints within a stipulated timeframe.
During a meeting with senior officials at the Chief Minister’s residence, the CM called up complainants whose issues had been escalated during a previous review. In each case, the complainants confirmed that their grievances had been addressed following the Chief Minister’s intervention.

For instance, Lakshmi Devi from Uttarkashi, who had been waiting for her family pension from the Education Department, informed the CM that her pension has now been approved. Similarly, Jagdamba Prasad Nautiyal from Rudraprayag confirmed that his pending medical bills have been cleared. Bahadur Singh Bisht from Nainital, a retired employee from the Horticulture Department, shared that his long-due GPF amount has been credited.
The Chief Minister’s initiative of personally checking on complainants has not only boosted public confidence but also increased accountability among departments. His approach reflects a combination of sensitivity and administrative firmness, ensuring that citizens’ voices are heard and acted upon.
“This direct feedback mechanism is ensuring swift action and pressurizing departments to respond promptly,” a senior official said.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, ADG Police A.P. Anshuman, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, and MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari.
With this approach, the state government reinforces its commitment to responsive governance and redressal of public grievances.
