AICPA And AIACE To Hold Demo Before Coal India Headquarters In Kolkata
Bodies to hold demonstration at the Hyderabad Office of Singreni Colliery too, on August 30, to press for their demands
All India Coal Pensioners Association (AICPA) and All India Association of Coal Executives (AIACE) have decided to stage a day long demonstration before Coal India office, Kollkata and Singreni Colliery office, Hyderabad. Shri P. K Singh Rathor, Convenor, AIACE & AICPA in a press release told that working and retired coal executives and coal pensioners from different parts of the country, under banner of All India Association of Coal Executives (AIACE) and All India Coal Pensioners Association (AICPA) have decided to stage demonstration on 30/10/2023 for fulfilment of following demands:
(i) Resolution of pay conflict created after implementation of National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA-XI)
(ii) Speedy implementation on suggestions contained in 12″ Report of Public Accounts Committee for Restructuring of Coal Mines Pension Scheme (Presented in Parliament on 18th March, 2020) and enhancement of pension
(iii) Smooth implementation of Contributory post-retirement Medical Scheme for executives and non-executives retired employees and relevant amendment in medical attendance rules in the changed scenario for working executives and employees.
Shri Rathor further told that prior to this proposed demonstration, we also organised dharna in Decemeber, 2019; July 2022 and December 2022 at Jantar-Mantar, New Delhi, and on 27th March 2023 at Varanasi and before CMPFO offices on different dates.
