The current Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), G Krishnakumar, is retiring on April 30, 2025.

Industry sources say that the top contenders for the plum post will be V.K. Gupta, Director (Finance), BPCL and Sanjay Khanna, Director (Refinery), BPCL.
