Chief Minister reviews schemes in Mantralaya

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that the state leads the nation in implementing the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. Initiated during the Corona period, the scheme has significantly supported small businesses by providing direct assistance for business upgrades and boosting the economy. The scheme offers loans in three phases: Rs. 10,000, Rs. 20,000, and Rs. 50,000, with repayments being incentivized through cashback. There is now a proposal to increase the loan amount to Rs. 1 lakh upon repayment. To motivate timely repayments and support business expansion, the government will consider enhancing loan amounts for eligible entrepreneurs. During a meeting at Mantralaya, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also reviewed the PM Swanidhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and other schemes.

In the recent meeting, it was highlighted that Madhya Pradesh has achieved significant success with the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, approving a total of 12,34,707 applications and reaching 101.40% of its target. The state is leading the nation in implementing the scheme. From 2021-22 to 2023-24, Rs 21 crore has been disbursed as cashback to street vendors, benefiting both digital onboard and digital active beneficiaries. Additionally, the Central and State Governments have provided interest subsidies under the scheme. Madhya Pradesh’s remarkable performance has been recognized with awards in four categories from the Central Government.

Madhya Pradesh Tops in Nation in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) Implementation

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also sought information about the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Malay Srivastava informed that Madhya Pradesh is at first place in the country by completing the construction of 7.89 lakh houses against the target of building 9.9 lakh houses under the scheme. The progress of the scheme is 83.14 percent. The remaining 1.60 lakh houses are being completed by the end of this year. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also received information about the innovations made under the scheme. Madhya Pradesh has received many awards under this scheme also.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also sought information about the implementation of the Mukhya Mantri Rural Street Vendor Loan Scheme, Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and Amrit Sarovar Yojana. It was told in the meeting that 72 thousand 965 kilometers of roads have been built in Madhya Pradesh under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.

Similarly, Madhya Pradesh ranks second in the country in the work of building the Amrit Sarovar. In the meeting Chief Secretary Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary of Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary of Chief Minister’s Office Sanjay Kumar Shukla, and officials were present.
