IOCL Going The ONGC Way As PESB Rejects All 10 Candidates Interviewed for Post Of Chairman IndianOil

Public sector headhunter The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) did not recommend any of the 10 candidates who appeared for the post of Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and advised the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas to take an appropriate course of further action including Search-Cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) or as deemed appropriate for selection with the approval of the competent authority.

The story broken by www.indianpsu.com has been proved correct as PESB declared nobody suitable and recommended for further action t be taken by the search committee. With these circumstances, the rumours of dilution of eligibility criteria in line with ONGC, to pave way for giving time beyond 60 years of age to Shri S M Vaidya getting more strength.

Sources said that the Search-Cum-Selection Committee could, on the lines of ONGC, recommend the name of the present Chairman of IOCL, Mr. S M Vaidya, who is set to superannuate on 31st August, 2023

2) Mr. Sandeep Jain, ED, Indian Oil Corporation Limited

3) Mr. Anna Durai, Executive Director, (Other Units) Indian Oil Corporation Limited

4) Mr. Shailendra Kurumaddali, ED, Indian Oil Corporation Limited

5) Mr. Sanjay Parashar, Executive Director, (Other Units) Indian Oil Corporation Limited

6) Mr. Gur Prasad, ED, Indian Oil Corporation Limited

7) Mr. Manoj Kumar Dubey, Director (Finance), Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR)

8) Mr. Rajeev Singhal, ED, GAIL India Limited

9) Mr. Yatendra Kumar, Additional General Manager, Indian Railways Service of Electric Engineering

10) Mr. Ranjan Prakash Thakur, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Indian Railways Traffic Service
